Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace Prviate Day Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am to kick-start an unforgettable day of exploration.

Our first stop is Tiananmen Square (30 minutes), the heart and symbol of Beijing, and also the largest square in the world. With a capacity to accommodate approximately one million people, it serves as the epicenter for public celebrations and gatherings. On the west side of Tiananmen Square stands the Great Hall of the People, where the national People's Congress of the People's Republic of China convenes. To the south, you'll find the Monument to the People's Heroes and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum. On the east side lies The National Museum of China, offering an opportunity to delve into concise Chinese General History through its exhibitions.

Next, we'll journey to the Imperial Palace, commonly known as the "Forbidden City" (2 hours). This magnificent complex boasts a 500-year history and is the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palace group. Although construction began between 1406 and 1420, most of the architecture you'll see today dates from the 1700s and onwards, owing to numerous rebuilds, renovations, and reconstructions over the centuries.

Our adventure continues with a visit to the Temple of Heaven (1.5 hours), where emperors once prayed for peace and bountiful harvests. Situated in the southern part of Beijing, this sacred site held immense significance for over five centuries, serving as a complex of sacrificial buildings for Ming and Qing emperors. Following this, we'll explore a Silk Factory (40 minutes), where you'll have the chance to bargain for exquisite silk products and experience China's traditional silk arts.

After a satisfying lunch, we'll journey to the Summer Palace (2 hours), one of China's largest imperial gardens. Originally built as a royal garden and temporary dwelling palace for Qing Dynasty emperors, it traces its roots back to the 18th century. Despite its destruction by British and French allied troops in 1860, it has been meticulously restored and stands as a testament to China's rich heritage.

Finally, we'll ensure your safe return to your hotel.
