Our guide will be delighted to pick you up from your hotel around 8:00 am, or at any other time that suits your preference. We'll then embark on a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the foot of the Badaling Great Wall.

The Great Wall of China, much like the Great Pyramid of Egypt, the Taj Mahal in India, and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, stands as one of the world's most distinguished wonders. Stretching over 12,700 kilometers, it's often referred to as the Ten Thousand Li Wall in China. Snaking up and down, bending and weaving along the mountain ridges, the Wall traverses through 5 provinces and 2 autonomous regions, connecting the northern regions of China.

As a cultural heritage site, the Great Wall not only belongs to China but to the entire world. According to the Venice Charter, "Historical and cultural architecture includes not only human architectural works but also the urban or rural environments that witnessed certain civilizations, evidential social development, or historic events." The Great Wall epitomizes this historical and cultural architecture, which continues to captivate visitors from around the globe. In 1987, UNESCO recognized the Wall as a world cultural heritage site.

After enjoying 3 hours of free exploration on the Great Wall, we'll indulge in a delightful lunch at a local Chinese restaurant (40 minutes). Following lunch, you'll have the opportunity for a brief 45-minute tour of the Jade Carving Factory, a renowned Chinese specialty product that beautifully blends exceptional sculpting skills with traditional Chinese culture – an experience not to be missed. Finally, we'll return you safely to your hotel.
